Please seal this mailing bag and leave at room temperature for several hours before posting. Due to the compostable nature of the bag, its self-adhesive sealing strip is only semi-permanent on initial contact sealing.

Compostable standard EN13432 - what does it tell us about a product?
This mailing bag conforms to EN13432 - the European compostable standard - which means that:
- At least 90% of its material will biodegrade (into CO2, water and minerals) within six months
- At least 90% of the broken down bag will pass through a 2x2mm mesh after 12 weeks
- It meets strict limits for volatile matter, fluorine and 10 heavy metals
- It will not adversely affect the quality of any compost to which it is added
Storing these black compostable mailiers
These mailing bags should be used within 12 months. To maximise their shelf life, please store in a cool, dry place, away from humidity, direct heat, sunlight or moisture.
How to dispose - black compostable mailers
Organic recycling only. After use, please place these bags - and contents - in your food waste bin or domestic compost. If these are not available, place in regular domestic waste, as they are not suitable for polythene recycling.
