Compostable standard EN13432

This bag conforms to the European standard EN13432 for industrial composting. This means that:

90% of it will disintegrate into tiny pieces (max 2mm x 2mm) within 12 weeks
It will biodegrade into CO2, water and biomass within six months (90% CO2 output vs control sample)
It passes strict tests for ecotoxicity and heavy metal content

Please store this bag in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources, sunlight, moisture and humidity. Use within 12 months.

How to dispose of this compostable bag

These bags are designed for disposal in industrial composting, so please place in your food waste bin, if available. They are also suitable for home composting, but this process will take much longer. Organic recycling only - not suitable for plastic recycling.
