Industrial composting standard EN13432

This bag is made from compostable material that is in full compliance with standard EN13432:

Packaging must decompose to such an extent that at least 90% must pass through a 2x2mm mesh after 12 weeks
90% or more of the product must biodegrade into CO2, water and biomass within six months
Material must conform to safety limits for 10 heavy metals - including copper and zinc - plus fluorine and volatile matter
Eco-toxicity tests must determine that the material does lower the quality of any compost to which it is added

How to store compostable peel & seal bags

Please help to maintain the high quality of this product by storing in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from heat or direct sunlight. Use within 12 months.

How should I dispose of this compostable bag?

Please place it in your food waste bin after use (if available - check local recycling options) as this product is designed to decompose within 12 weeks in industrial composting conditions. Also suitable for home composting, although this will most likely take longer than 12 weeks (timescales will vary depending on disposal environment).
