Industrial compost standard EN13432

This product is fully compostable according to the EN13432 standard:

• Material must decompose to the extent that at least 90% must pass through a 2x2mm mesh after 12 weeks
• At least 90% of the product must biodegrade into CO2, water and biomass within six months
• Packaging must conform to limits for fluorine, volatile matter and 10 heavy metals, including copper, zinc and lead
• Eco-toxicity tests must determine that the packaging does adversely affect compost quality

Storing compostable peel & seal bags

These bags should be stored in a cool, dry place, in their original packaging, away from sources of heat or direct sunlight. Use within 12 months.

Compostable peel & seal bags - end of life options

Please place in your organic waste collection, if available (check locally for recycling options), as this product will biodegrade in industrial composting conditions within 12 weeks. Also suitable for home composting, although timescales may vary depending on disposal conditions, and will most likely take longer than 12 weeks.
