Eco-friendly Carrier Bags
A range of compostable, biodegradable and I'm Green environmentally-friendly carrier bags. Compostable bags are made from natural starch and biodegrade in industrial compost (green bin) or domestic compost heaps. Bio-additive biodegradeable bags rapidly break down into naturally-benign elements. I'm Green is a sustainable material derived from ethanol (from sugar-cane) that is carbon-neutral and is 100% recyclable. The choice is yours!
There are 6 categories within this group:
10 Products. Environmentally-friendly carrier bags manufactured with a bio-additive that accelerates the degradation process. Similar properties to polythene carriers for 12 months, before additive triggers rapid breakdown into naturally-benign elements.
2 Products. Eco-friendly white vest carrier bags printed with a large green '100% Degradable' motif to display their eco-credentials. Designed to break down into naturally-benign elements within 2-5 years.
6 Products. Clear or white 100% compostable carrier bags. Suitable for composting or organic recycling, these strong 60 micron carriers conform to EN13432 and feature a printed 'compostable' logo.
7 Products. The classic vest carrier bag - now 100% compostable! Smart white, green or black carrier bags that can also be used (or re-used) as bin liners for food waste. Conform to compostable standard EN13432.
4 Products. Carbon-neutral, 100% recyclable and made from 95% renewable material. These clear carrier bags are made from I'm Green polythene which is derived from ethanol farmed from sugar cane plantations.
7 Products. A selection of carrier bags made with a minimum of 30% recycled content to reduce environmental impact.
