FIBC Bulk Bags
FIBC storage bags are known by a number of different names - the official abbreviation stands for Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers, but they are also known as bulk bags, tonne bags or tote bags. Manufactured from a flexible woven polypropylene that offers superior strength and tear resistance, each bag has four 30cm lifting loops, made from the same sturdy material. They can be carried by hand, or looped onto a crane or forklift to transport across a busy construction site or warehouse.
- Bulk bags are often used to hold dry, flowing materials including sand, gravel, soil, aggregate, stones and other building products.
- Bulk bags are commonly used for waste and recycling collection and transportation (particularly by local councils).
- All our bulk bags are tested to a 5:1, 1000kg safety factor and come with a safety label and certificate reference number (certificate available on request).
- Safe weight load of 1000kg (1 tonne). It is recommended that this weight is not exceeded.
