Important note: how to seal this compostable mailing bag
Due to this mailing bag's compostable properties, its adhesive peel and seal strip is only semi-permanent on initial contact sealing. For a more permanent seal, please leave at room temperature for several hours once sealed.

EN13432 - The compostable standard
This mailing bag is a compostable product, according to the European standard EN13432. This means that, in industrial composting conditions:
- Within 12 weeks, material will decompose into tiny pieces so that at least 90% of it passes through a 2x2mm mesh
- Within six months, at least 90% of the bag's material will biodegrade into carbon dioxide (CO2), water and minerals
- The material meets strict limits for volatile matter, fluorine and 10 heavy metals, including zinc, copper and lead
- The bag passes ecotoxicity tests and adding it to compost will not affect the quality of that compost
Storing compostable mailers
We recommend storing these mailing bags in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and humidity. Use within 12 months.
How to dispose - compostable packaging
These bags are suitbale for organic recycling only. After use, please place in your food waste bin (industrial compost) or a domestic compost heap. If neither is possible, please place in your regular waste bin. Not suitable for polythene recycling.
