Small ESD grip seal bag features
- Resealable grip seal static-shielding bag.
- Protects sensitive electronic components from an electrostatic discharge (ESD) outside an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA).
- Comprehensively tested to exceed industry standards (ANSI/ESD S541, EIA 625) and to be ANSI/ESD S20.20 programme compliant.
- Composed of an internal polyethylene layer, a conductive metallised polyester layer and an external antistatic abrasion-resistant lacquer.
- Creates a 'Faraday cage' around the product, which carries electricity generated by an ESD around the metal bag rather than through it.
- Allows expensive components such as printed circuit boards (PCBs) to be protected in transit or storage.
- Pre-printed ESD notice.
- Semi-transparent so contents can be easily identified.
- Surface resistance of 10^8 - 10^11 ohms per square.
