The Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT) is a tax - for which the manufacturer is liable - on all plastic packaging that contains less than 30% recycled plastic.
Polybags takes care of the PPT for any product that we sell containing less than 30% recycled content, so that you don't have to.
So if you see our 'PPT Prepaid' icon on any products, rest assured that Polybags has paid the PPT on that product.
You may also see an icon highlighting products that are PPT exempt, either because they are plastic products containing a minimum of 30%-recycled content, or because they are products made from other materials (i.e. non-plastic).
