Biodegradable Clear Bags

Biodegradable clear polythene bags containing an additive that accelerates the degradation process. In the unwanted event of littering, these recyclable bags are scientifically-proven to biodegrade within 1-2 years, leaving no microplastics or other harmful materials behind.

We also stock a wide range of compostable packing bags designed to disintegrate within 12 weeks and then biodegrade within six months in industrial composting (as per EN13432 standard).

Can be used and reused just like regular clear polythene bags.
Recyclable with regular polythene packaging.
If littered, will biodegrade in the open environment.
Meets BSI standard PAS 9017:2020 (biodegradability of polyolefins).
Passes ecotoxicity tests and leaves no microplastics behind.
Store between 17-23°C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Use within 12 months from the date of purchase.
Range includes bags made with 30% recycled content (PPT exempt).
Size range: 100mm x 150mm (4" x 6") to 915mm x 1219mm (36" x 48").
