Performs just like a regular polythene bag during product service life.
Can be recycled in regular (soft plastic) recycling streams.
Made with a bio-additive that speeds up degradation in the wanted event of littering.
Scientifically-proven to biodegrade (within 1-2 years) in the open environment.
Bio-additive transforms polythene into a non-toxic wax-like substance.
This substance is broken down into CO2, water and biomass by bacteria and fungi.
Material leaves behind no microplastics and meets strict ecotoxicity standards.
Conforms to BSI standard on biodegradability of polyolefins (PAS 9017:2020).
Biodegradability message printed on bag (details below).
Manufactured with 30% recycled content (minimum) so exempt from Plastic Packaging Tax.

Clear biodegradable bag - shelf life and storage instructions

This bag has a shelf-life of 12 months from the date of purchase.

We recommended that bags are stored in their original packaging, away from direct sunlight and between 17-23°C.

Failure to do this can reduce the product's shelf life.

How to dispose of Bio-Transformation (Bio-T) packaging

To dispose of these biodegradable bags, please recycle them along with other soft plastics at a bag collection point in your local major supermarket.

Do not dispose of them with your food waste or in a home compost heap as they are not designed to biodegrade in closed environments.
