Compostable vest carrier bags - end of life options
After being used as a carrier bag, these compostable bags offer a secondary use as a bin liner for a food (organic) waste bin or kitchen caddy.
Once full, the bag can then be disposed of, along with its contents, in your food waste collection. It is designed to break down in industrial composting conditions within 12 weeks.
These bags are also suitable for home composting, although this process will take longer than 12 weeks (timescale depends on disposal environment).
Please note that these bags are not suitable for regular (non-organic) recycling, so if you cannot compost them, please dispose of them in your regular waste collection.
