Compostable stand-up pouch (1.3-1.4l) - features

Brown krart paper outer layer for a classic look.
Compostable inner layer made from Polylactic Acic (PLA) - typically produced from renewable resources such as sugar cane or corn starch.
Approved for food contact.
Integral seal squeezes shut to keep produce fresh.
Open and close repeatedly - resealable pouch.
Suitable for most food produce, including cereals, nuts, sweets, tea & coffee and more.
Bottom gusset opens at base to allow pouch to stand upright on shelf.
When packed, flattened pouches take up minimal room in storage.
Compatible with all standard heat sealers.
Simple to open thanks to handy tear-off notches.

Compostable stand-up pouch (1.3-1.4l) - product structure

This compostable product features an outer layer made of 60gsm brown kraft paper, laminated to an inner layer made of 60-micron thick Polylactic Acid (PLA).

PLA meets the European standard for industrial composting (EN13432) and is typically manufactured using renewable resources such as sugar cane or corn starch.

Compostable stand-up pouch (1.3-1.4l) - storage instructions

Please ensure that these pouches are stored in their original packaging in a cool, dark place. Failure to do this can dramatically reduce the product's shelf life through exposure to sunlight, moisture and/or heat.

Please note this product has a maximum shelf life of 12 months as standard, as the polymers used to manufacture the product are designed to structurally break down and decompose after this point.
