This pouch is made from 60gsm brown kraft paper laminated to 60-micron thick Polylactic Acid (PLA) to offer a pouch that is compostable.
PLA is typically made using renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane. This material conforms to the EN13432 standard for industrial composting.
Compostable stand-up pouch (100-150ml) - storage instructions
These pouches must be stored in their original packaging in a cool, dark place, as exposure to direct heat, sunlight or moisture can reduce their shelf life.
Our compostable products have a maximum shelf life of 12 months as standard, as the polymers used are designed to structurally break down and decompose after this point.
