Brown kraft paper outer layer for a smart look and feel.
Polylactic Acid (PLA) inner layer - produced from renewable resources (e.g. corn starch or sugar cane).
Food-safe pouch.
Seal squeezes shut to keep produce fresh.
Resealable pouch for continual reuse.
Suitable for a range of produce, including dried foods, nuts, fruit, confectionery, pet food and more.
Base features bottom gusset that allows the pouch to stand up independently on the shelf.
Flat-pack together for efficient storage.
Heat sealable pouches - can be used with our range of heat sealers.
Handy tear-off notches for simple opening after heat-sealing.

These compostable pouches are made from two layers laminated together:

Outer layer: Brown kraft paper (60gsm)
Inner layer: Polylactic Acid (60 micron)

Polylactic Acid (PLA) is typically made using renewable resources (e.g. corn starch or sugar cane). This material is compliant with the European industrial composting standard (EN13432).

We strongly advise that these pouches are stored in a cool, dark place and in their original packaging.

Our compostable packaging has a 12-month shelf life, which can be reduced by exposure to direct sunlight, heat or moisture.
