This compostable pouch consists of a 60gsm brown kraft paper outer layer, laminated to a 60-micron thick Polylactic Acid (PLA) layer.
Typically, PLA is manufactured using renewable resources such as sugar cane or corn starch. It also conforms to the EN13432 industrial composting standard.

It is essential that these pouches are stored in their original packaging in a cool, dark place. Exposure to sunlight, moisture or direct heat can reduce their shelf life.
This product has a maximum shelf life of 12 months as standard, as the polymers used to make the product are designed to structurally break down and decompose after this point.
